THE WAY THE PROFIT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM WORKS FOR YOUR COMPANY
The purpose of this document is to provide the Client In-House Program Leader (to be selected) with a step by step procedure relative to the execution of the “Business Health Check-Up” Program. If procedural questions arise, please contact our office for clarification.

STEP #1-MMC and the Client enter into a formal agreement (See Business Health Check-Up Proposal & Agreement Component).

STEP #2-The Client selects an In-House Program Leader who will coordinate all in-house program activities and will act as Client Liaison with the MMC staff during all program phases.

STEP #3-MMC forwards the “Business Health Check-Up” Program material pack to the Client Program Leader. This pack consists of one each of the following items:

A) ”Crisis Management Before The Management Crisis” Vol. I or II downloaded book. This book presents and explains the Ten Early Warning Signal theory and functions as the Program Leader’s seminar support workbook.

B) “Business Health Check-Up” Program seminar DVD.

C) Case study download packet for on-site photocopying for each program participant and a case study discussion guide for use by the Program Leader.

D) “Business Health Check-Up” Survey Form download for on- site photocopying for each program participant, including the Program Leader. 

E) Flash Report sample form download.

STEP #4-The Program Leader then reviews the program material pack and completes the following activities in preparation for his/her role:

A) Read the “Crisis Management Before The Management Crisis” Book download and become conversant with the Ten Early Warning Signal Theory presented therein (estimated time on task = 60 minutes). 

B) Preview the “Business Health Check-Up” Program seminar DVD at least twice and develop individual notes for use during the on-site seminar process (estimated time on task = 60 minutes).

C) Download and read the case study overview, the case study and the case study discussion guide (estimated time on task = 45 minutes).

D) Casually review the “Business Health Check-Up” Survey Form download and verify copy sufficiency count (estimated time on task = 20 minutes).

E) Read the Flash Report sample download and become familiar with the form thereof (estimated time on task = 30 minutes).

STEP #5-The Program Leader then proceeds to execute the following tasks:

A) Meet the program participants, on-site, to commence the seminar segment of the program.

B) Briefly explain the goals of the program as previously gleaned from the preview of the “Business Health Check-Up” DVD…they are:
 
  .01 Improve corporate profitability and conjunctively, 
   employee job security!

  .02 Improve corporate operating efficiency!

  .03 Improve and focus the profit perception of the group
   via the timeless “Ten Early Warning Signal” theory.

C) Present the “Business Health Check-Up” Program seminar DVD to the program participants.

D) Distribute the case study overview and accompanying case study packet to the program participants.

E) Advise the program participants concerning the simple read and note procedure relative to the case study packet.

F) Upon completion of the controlled case study analysis and discussion, distribute the “Business Health Check-Up” survey for anonymous completion by program participants and the Program Leader.

STEP #6-Upon completion of Step #5, the Program Leader arranges for the total groups completed survey forms package to be express mailed to the MMC office for data extraction and scoring computations.

STEP #7-MMC then evaluates the Client “Business Health Check-Up” Survey response results and develops an analysis of the database derived therefrom. The results of the data analysis are then provided to the Program Leader in brief written form via e-mail. The MMC Staff and the Program Leader then conduct telephone discussions relative to explanation, clarification and expansion of the analysis results.

STEP #8-The Program Leader then meets with seminar and workshop program participants to accomplish the following:

A) Conduct a Client customized workshop group meeting on-site.

B) Review the “Business Health Check-Up” Survey analysis results.

C) Conduct specific group discussions relative to confirmation, expansion, modification, etc. of the analysis results.

STEP #9-A preliminary company profitability profile is collectively defined by the Program Leader and workshop participants.

Step #10-Targeted company Profit Improvement opportunities are collectively and tentatively defined by the Program Leader and workshop participants.

STEP #11-The Program Leader then forwards the results of Steps #8, #9 and #10 to MMC Staff for review and critique.

STEP #12-MMC Staff will then review, critique and may provide expansion and/or verification suggestions and then forwards its written response etc. to the Program Leader via e-mail.

STEP #13-Upon receipt of the MMC response, the Program Leader and/or others complete a written Flash Report draft. This report will include Profit Improvement recommendations for future implementation by Client Management. 

STEP #14-The Program Leader forwards the Flash Report draft to MMC via e-mail, for final review and written critique.

STEP #15- MMC Staff then completes its final review and written critique of the Flash Report draft and provides same to the Program Leader via e-mail.

STEP #16-The Program Leader and (selected or all) program participants complete and present their Flash Report to Client Top Management for discussion and Profit Improvement action. This concludes the “Business Health Check-Up” Program activity.
